HALL OF FAME


Criteria for Selection:
  1. The nominee must, during and following his/her career, have exemplified the pride and spirit that is Brandywine Heights athletics.
  2. The nominee, if an athlete, must be a Brandywine Heights graduate* and out of high school for at least ten (10) years.
  3. The nominee, if a coach, must have coached in the Brandywine Heights system for five (5) years, and out of coaching for at least (5) years.
  4. The nominee, if an at-large candidate, must have been a member of the community who has made a significant contribution to Brandywine Heights High School athletics.
*Athletes that would have graduated prior to Brandywine Heights' first graduating class are exempt from this criteria.

Selection Process:
  1. The selection committee will be composed of:
  2. a. Athletic Director
    b. Female Coach
    c. Male Coach
    d. Brandywine Heights Staff Member
    e. President of the Athletic Booster club
    f. At-Large Member of the Community or Former Graduate of BH
  3. Any member of the community, past or present athletic staff, teaching staff and/or administrative staff may submit a nomination form.
  4. Nominations must include a written resume of the nominee, years played service and/or accomplishments
  5. Nomination deadline will be January 31 of the current school year.
  6. The selection committee will send a letter to the nominee requesting a complete resume to be returned no later then the second week of March of the current school year.
  7. The selection committee will select no more the three (3) candidates from the pool and notify the inductees by April.
  8. The induction will take place as part of the All Sports Banquet during the month of May.
  9. Nominations will remain active for five (5) years, after that they will be removed but can be re-nominated.
