School District Building Projects

The Brandywine Heights Area School District is pleased to provide community members with information on the facility projects of the school district.  As community members and stakeholders, we want to be sure that you are informed of the decisions and projects being conducted as future investments of the school district.

Project Updates:

  • The School District is proposing an addition at the Elementary School to meet growing space and education needs.  The plan is to build a new gymnasium and 4 classroom spaces.  In addition, the existing gym will be converted to a library and stem space.  The exisiting library will be converted into to classrooms.

Elementary School Construction Bid Information

The Brandywine Heights Area School District will be accepting bids for an addition at the Elementary School.  Full Bid Advertisement

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for construction of Additions and Alterations to Brandywine Heights Elementary School, 445 W Barkley Street, Topton Pennsylvania 19562 will be received at the Administrative Offices of the Owner/Address until 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on May 06, 2020.  Bids must be submitted to the attention of Craig Neiman, Business Manager. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the Bidder and shall be clearly marked “Additions and Alterations to Brandywine Heights Elementary School”.  Bids will be placed in designated drop-off box at entrance to Administrative Office, drop-off should occur one person a time, there will be no access to the building. Bids will be publicly opened via a live digital feed and read aloud one hour after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids.  Bids received after the above-referenced date and time shall be returned to the Bidder unopened. CRA is beginning to offer issuing .pdfs in lieu of printed drawing sets as an option.  Project Managers are required to receive quotes from ARC regarding printing and pdf uploading costs.  See your admin staff for instructions and further assistance.

 

On or after April 8, 2020, Bidders may obtain bidding documents in hard copy and/or .pdf electronic format by submitting a written request for the same, together with two separate checks in the non-refundable amount(s) listed below, payable to: Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates, 401 E.
