- When you reply to a message that was sent to you as a member of a listserv list, GroupWise behaves like other e-mail packages. The reply message is sent to the listserv, which sends the message to everyone on the list. To reply to only the original sender of the message sent to the list, open a new message (or forward the existing one) to the original sender of the message. You will have to enter the e-mail address from your address book, or cut and paste from the original message.

- It would be a good idea to get in the habit of saving to your home directory on the server instead of (or in addition) to your local hard drive. There are two reasons for this; first, everything on the server gets backed up at least once a week. Second, if your local hard drive would crash and need to be replaced, it would be unlikely that we could recover the information you have saved there. If you save to your network drive, you can access your files from practically any computer in the district using your login credentials.
On the file you wish to save - Click on Save or Save As.
In the drop down box at the top, choose drive K: It will have your user name followed by the server name. For example, johsmi on Bhasd_main\Data\Users\Teachers\Ms' (K). Click on this directory.
In the File Name box at the bottom of that pop-up window, type in the name you want to give to that document.
Click OK.

| |
- If you have a Mac, and are unsure how to save to your network drive, there are a few steps. You should have an icon on your desktop which looks like this: . If you double click on it, you will be prompted to enter your password. You should see your available folders in your Finder window. If you do NOT have an icon on your desktop, you will need to connect manually. From the toolbar at the top, within Finder, select "Go" and select "Connect to Server". Enter in afp://172.20.0.86 and select Ok. You will be prompted for your user context and password. Your context should look something like this : firlas.hs.teachers.campus.bhasd. If you are still unable to connect, please contact the Tech Department and we will help you to log in.
