Brandywine Heights Elementary School serves students in grades K-3, and has an enrollment of approximately 436 students.

The Elementary School offers curricula aligned with Pennsylvania academic standards. Our school includes Title I services, ESL services, and a full time guidance counselor.

About Us

Brandywine Heights Elementary School services grades K-3, and our current enrollment is 436. We feature a team approach to meeting developmental and academic needs of our students. There are twenty regular education classrooms, two learning support classrooms, one autistic classroom, two Reading and Title I teachers, a Talented and Gifted teacher, and two Speech teachers. Currently, we have six full-day kindergarten classes, and five each of first through second grade classes and four third grade classes. Grade level classrooms are located in a similar proximity for team sharing ideas and student enrichment.

In addition to our academic subjects, students receive instruction in Technology Education through the use of a computer lab and a full-time technology instructor on a weekly basis. Each classroom has at least one computer with internet access. Our PTC is very active supporting our students and teachers. They meet every third Wednesday of the month and attend grade level meetings with teachers on a monthly basis.

From the East or West: Rt. 78 to Exit 14 onto Rt. 100 S. Bear right at 2nd light onto Schantz Rd. Go 3-4 miles; road runs into Rt. 222 South. Continue on 222 South for 3-4 miles. Make left at light at Arby's/Burger King. Follow road to Topton. Cross over railroad trackes. At "T" make right onto Franklin St. Go straight until you reach S. Callowhill St. Make a left until you reach W. Barkley St. Turn right, then a soft left to the school.

From Reading: Rt. 222 North towards Allentown (approx. 13 miles). Make right at light at Arby's/Burger King. Follow road to Topton. Cross over railroad trackes. At "T" make right onto Franklin St. Go straight until you reach S. Callowhill St. Make a left until you reach W. Barkley St. Turn right, then a soft left to the school.
