We are a quality public high school striving to meet the needs of every student. Numerous Advanced Placement and Honors courses are offered in our curriculum. Additionally our students participate in a Dual Enrollment Program in conjunction with Reading Area Community College. This program allows students to earn college credit, while at the same time being challenged by the rigorous academic programs. Our prolific Fine Arts Department consisting of Art, Band, and Vocal Music programs have consistently brought high honors to our school. Likewise, we have quite an accomplished athletic program for a school of our size. Brandywine Heights High School offers something for everyone. From our academic classes and activities to our extra-curricular offerings we provide an array of opportunities to enrich the high school years and connect students to school so that they experience success.
Brandywine Heights High School houses approximately five hundred students in grades nine through twelve. We follow a traditional schedule of eight forty-two minute periods with two thirty-minute lunches. Our curriculum encompasses many of the traditional high school courses, as well as some of the newest offerings, such as Project Lead the Way, a series of pre-engineering courses. Our students can choose to participate in many different vocational opportunities through the Berks Career and Technology Center. Explore BCTC’s website and discover the many programs and opportunities they offer! We offer most of the traditional high school sports programs as well as many other extra-curricular opportunities intended to help students develop skills in areas outside the classroom. Our staff of highly qualified teachers offers instruction in many different settings using technological tools that will help students achieve their college and career aspirations.

All students who park in the school parking lot should have parking tags. These tags should be clearly displayed by adhering the tag to the windshield, in the lower right-hand corner. Parking Permit information is available here and can be e-mailed to Mrs. Kegerise at firstname.lastname@example.org, along with copies of both vehicle registration and student driver’s license. Once permits are obtained students are permitted to park in the student lots. The Speed Limit is 15 mph in our driveways and parking lots! LOITERING in the parking lot may result in the loss of driving privileges!
