About Us

The guidance office is available to all students during study halls, lunch periods, and before and after school. In order to visit the guidance office, a hall pass must be obtained from the teacher in charge. Other services offered are careers pathways assistance, schedule changes, entry and withdrawal assistance, testing, tutoring, social security number applications, assistance in choosing post high school education, and national testing services.  Students should not visit the guidance office during class time unless it is necessary and unless the student has a hall pass from the teacher in charge.

      • Last Call for the 2020-21 BCTC Applications – Completed applications need to be submitted to the Guidance Office by no later than Friday, December 6th to be considered for possible BCTC enrollment next year.  Applications are still available in the Guidance Office.

      • Keystone Boys State is an educational, intensive, hands-on workshop with the opportunity to gain leadership skills through an intensive summer program. Keystone Boys State
      • The Pennsylvania American Legion State Police National Guard Youth Camp is available for students ages 15-17. This six day camp introduces students to a career in law enforcement or a branch in the military. PA State Police Youth Week

Scholarship Information

  • Available to Seniors: Senior Scholarship Packet (Newly Updated!) –  Senior Scholarships  Please be sure to view the updated scholarship packet, as new scholarships have recently been added! Only scholarships that are to be returned to the Guidance Office for entry are to be returned to Guidance.  All other scholarship applications are the responsibility of the student to forward to the scholarship originator by the deadline indicated on the scholarship.  Great Valu Scholarship

College Representative Visits to BHHS

Students may sign up in the counseling office to meet with a college representative to gather more information and ask questions regarding that particular school.  Please refer to the calendars below to check whether the school in which you are interested has scheduled a college visit to BHHS!
