Snowy days feel like the perfect time to look back. ❄️

As part of our 70th anniversary, and with the help of the Longswamp Township Historical Society, we restored and digitized the only known copy of the District’s original dedication program. It offers a rare glimpse into the planning, pride, and purpose that shaped Brandywine Heights Area School District from the very beginning. Stay warm and take a moment to flip through this piece of our history: https://heyzine.com/flip-book/a17d0147a8.html#page/1

β„οΈβ˜ƒοΈThis is a message from the Brandywine Heights Area School District. To help families prepare for tomorrow morning I wanted to send a message out this evening with an update on the status of school tomorrow. The School District will be operating under a two hour delay for tomorrow, Monday, January 19th. Based on the current snow coming down and freezing temperatures over night, a delay will allow time to clear roads and school grounds. We will evaluate conditions in the morning and any additional calls will be made by 8:00 am.

Please stay safe and warm this evening!

β„οΈβ˜ƒοΈThe Brandywine Heights Area School District will be CLOSED tomorrow (Tuesday, December 2) due to the forecasted snow and wintry mix. Higher elevations in the District are expected to see increased snow and ice throughout the day.

Because of the long Thanksgiving break, Elementary students do not have devices at home, so a virtual learning day is not possible.

An update on after-school and evening activitiesβ€”including the School Board meetingβ€”will be shared by lunchtime tomorrow.

Stay warm and safe!
