• Visits classrooms to teach guidance lessons

• Promote positive attitudes and choices

• Aid teachers and parents in helping students

• Coordinate efforts with other community and school programs

• Maintain confidentiality

• Investigate and help to solve problems

• Coordinate PSSA testing

• Screening students for gifted and learning support referrals
