Hoodies hanging on a rack

Brandywine Heights Elementary School is now collecting outgrown and gently used hoodies in the main office.

In December, the students will have the opportunity to swap a gently used hoodie for one that is "new to them." Hoodies will need to be labeled, so students can receive bucket filler credit for their donation. We recommend placing them in a bag, labeled with your child's name.

The goal is to have extra hoodies, so those who cannot donate but would benefit from a new hoodie, will be able to get one. If students bring more than 1 hoodie, they can earn an additional "sit anywhere at lunch" pass.

Please make sure all items are clean and in good condition (no holes, stains, or tears). Child-sized hoodies are required for earning bucket fillers and lunch passes. We will, however, take any sized hoodie donations and distribute to the other grade levels accordingly. The intermediate, middle, and high schools are doing something similar.

We hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity to swap some old hoodies for some that are "new to you."

Please contact Mrs. Samantha Moyer (sammoy@bhasd.org) with any questions.

Thank you!
