Mental Health Awareness Week Tip
Take a moment to breathe deep and reset with this simple technique: Hot Chocolate Breath 🍫💨
It’s a fun and easy way to reduce stress, calm anxiety, and boost overall well-being.
Here’s how:
1. 🌬️ Imagine holding a warm cup of hot chocolate.
2. 👃 Smell the delicious aroma as you breathe in slowly.
3. 😮💨 Cool it down with a gentle breath out.
4. ☕ Sip and quietly say “ahhhh…”
5. 🔁 Repeat 3 times.
This calming exercise helps relax your nervous system, improve lung function, and bring you back to the present. Try it—your mind and body will thank you. 💚

When grant funding for our summer meal program ran out, Friends of Brandywine didn’t miss a beat.
They raised $40,000 (yes, forty thousand!) to keep the program going for the next two years—making sure our kids stay fed and cared for all summer long.
Their support means bellies that might’ve gone empty this summer will be full instead. 💛
This is what community looks like. When one door closes, our people build another—and hold it open for everyone.
We’re so lucky to be part of a place that shows up for its kids.
Thank you, Friends of Brandywine. We’re beyond grateful.
