First grade is working on using shelf markers and enjoying their books in the Library!
In science, Mrs. Whalen's students are learning about the properties of materials. Using a paper plate, string, foil, paper bag, paper towel, and 2 binder clips, students created a hat to protect themselves from the sun. They learned which materials were rigid and which materials were flexible.

Mrs. Smith’s class has new friends that go together like peanut butter and jelly! We chose a new friend we don’t typically play with, and learned all about getting along with new friends!
Ms. Dirsa’s kindergarten class got messy with math today. They were practicing number formation with shaving cream!
Mrs. Lewis's students learned about toucans and created their own during science class. 🎨
