PreK Price have been investigating apples and engaged in various science, math and art activities to explore apples by taste-testing them, weighing and measuring them, looking at apples using magnifiers, graphing their favorite kind of apple, creating apple prints and making name towers out of apples. We have read various books about apples, learned about Johnny Appleseed and made apple sauce, which we tasted at the end of the unit of exploration. Apples are YUMMY!
