Tomorrow is the annual Education Showcase and Mindfulness event from 5-7 at the High School. All families are welcome to attend! Come out, grab some dinner, and learn about the instruction happening in our classrooms.


K-5 Gifted has moved into game mode and will build their way to the end of the school year finish line! Using Bloxels, students are using the hands on platform to collaborate, build, and tell stories through video game creations.





It may be spring, but students are still working hard to meet their learning goals! Keep up the hard work!! 👏🏼🤩📚





Kindergarten invited local preschools to participate in teddy bear day. All children had a "beary" nice day!











First graders performed concert songs for residents at the Lutheran home. It was a small group but they sang beautifully!




Strike Out the Stigma. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 with the Reading Fightin Phils, game time 7:00 pm at First Energy Stadium.

BHASD is holding the annual Educational Showcase and Mindfulness Family Night on April 18, 2024 at the High School from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Join us for a fun night filled with vendors, educational highlights, and activities.


Continuing to SPRINKLE kindness throughout the school community and beyond. We have Kristen Apgar from Geist who kindly donated the coffee mugs that will be raffled at the Educational Showcase on April 18th! We also have Mr. Nick Ramsey who is a soccer coach, Sensei from Kutztown Martial Arts, Ms. Katie Kehm who is one of our cheer coaches, Mr, Brian Rose who is a train conductor, and Safety Net Sanctuary! Keep sprinkling kindness..... who will be next?!

Pre-K Price participated in the Bullet Academy Family Yoga sessions during the months of February and March. Each student had a wonderful time learning some new yoga poses, listening to stories, and stretching in new ways. Students learned how to calm their body and mind, while working cooperatively with their peers. It was a lot of fun!

Our Family Glow Dance is coming up this month! Friday, April 19th from 6-8pm. Join us in the ES gym for a fun evening dancing, taking pictures in the Christmas City photo booth, and getting free glow face painting! Entry is $6/family, or $5/family with a canned food donation that will go towards our community food pantry. Some light refreshments will be provided. Also, DonutNV food truck will be attending with their DELICIOUS donuts and lemonade for purchase!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kohler for being nominated for the Annie Sullivan Award! The BCIU held a heartfelt ceremony April 3rd to honor all nominees for their outstanding contributions and dedication to improve the lives of those with disabilities.
