✨ALL STAR READERS✨
Have you read any good books lately? These kids have read a ton!! 🤩📚

Ms Hoff's and Ms Dirsa's classes performed the story of the first thanksgiving. They also made cookies that looked like turkeys, made butter and also made homemade applesauce!

Pre-K Price have been very busy this month learning all about nocturnal and diurnal animals and their specialized adaptations to help them live and work at night. We made bats and learned how they use echolocation. We made three different owls and learned how they have specialized eyes that can see in the dark. We celebrated everything nocturnal with a Pajama Day and took turns listening to stories inside a tent, using night lights and flashlights.
On November 13, we celebrated World Kindness Day by sharing stories with each other about how we have been kind. Pre-K made a special class book of our kindness stories. We are learning through play in pre-k.

Second grade students used manipulates to solve math problems. We have some amazing problem solvers!

🦃Mrs. Worman's class completed a Thanksgiving escape room! They worked together to complete different tasks that helped a silly turkey run away and hide until Thanksgiving was over. 🦃

🐷🐖After reading several versions of the “Three Little Pigs” Mrs. Ohl’s class made pig houses. They tested them to see if they could be blown down. 🐷🐖

2nd graders in Miss Madonna's class created thankful lap books to reflect on what they are thankful for. 🦃

Students played math and rhythm games in first and second grade. Third graders are working on their karate belts with the recorder!
