
Money and Budget!
Miss Swank’s students were given $30 to spend in our class store to make Thanksgiving dinner. Students had to add their totals together to make sure they had enough money to pay for their grocery items and identify the amount of change they should receive. 💰




LEGO Turkeys! 🧡🦃
The challenge was to build a Turkey out of Legos that had a least one moving part!

Kindergarten had a gobbling good time rotating through different thanksgiving stations. They decorated cookies to look like turkeys, made homemade applesauce and butter, did a Mayflower stem activity and created turkey headbands! 🦃





Third graders had a beautiful afternoon at the park. The children were happy with the outcome of our vote! ☀️





Family Literacy Night!

Today, third grade students had a mock election. Extra recess won with a 58 to 31 victory over watching a movie. The children enjoyed learning how easy it is vote and having the opportunity to go through the procedure! 🗳
