Happy New Year from Mrs. Rissmillers's class! 🎉

Mrs. Ohl’s class loved their PTC holiday gift. They created forts and did flashlight reading. 📚❤️

🌎1st-grade students traveled the world to learn about different holidays! 🌏

🎄Mrs. Worman's 1st grade worked together to create Christmas trees using stacking cups and ornaments. The goal was to build a tree, decorate it, and place a star on top without the cups falling over. 🎄

Second graders did Christmas stem activities. Students worked in groups to build a shelf for their elf, build a parachute for Santa, and create the tallest Christmas tree. 🎄

Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Gangawere treated classes to a Christmas carol sing-a-long!

After reading Jan Brett's Gingerbread Baby, First Grade rolled a gingerbread person!

In music class, students were doing a paper plate activity to Nutcracker music! 🎶

Roman did an excellent job as PRINCIPAL today! He did the morning announcements, checked out security cameras, saw some secret spaces in the school, visited classrooms, met with Mr. Potteiger and Mr. Farina, and more! ✏️

This year, the Middle School and High School Student Councils joined forces to organize a district-wide Food Drive that began in November and ran through December 8th, 2023.
Student Council members from both MS & HS student council groups organized all donations and then packed beautifully gift-wrapped boxes with these items to be distributed to families as at the Brandywine Food Pantry for the holiday.
Each box will include the following items: Holiday Napkins, Applesauce, Carrots, Peas, Corn, Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Fruit Juice, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Fruit Cocktail, Coffee/Cocoa, and Cookies
Thank you to all families and students who donated items to this initiative. In addition, Thank you to Ms. Schwenk, Ms. Bleiler and all student council members for organizing an amazing way to give back to our community during the season of joy!

Second grade students wrote a persuasive essay about why you should not eat the Gingerbread Man. Students then created their own gingerbread men and women!
