In 1999 a State Police Citizens’ Police Academy Program was implemented at the troop level as a 10-12 week course to educate the public about the activities and responsibilities of State Police. Here at Brandywine Heights High School, we would like to offer this class opportunity to our students who are interested in what the State Police do and how they can better develop a partnership with the State Police in our own community. Here are some important details: 1. Class will start at the end of February or beginning of March 2. Class lasts 10-12 weeks long 3. There is only 1 class per week 4. Classes will be held from 2:05 pm - 3:35pm 5. Transportation will be provided if needed at 3:35pm once the class is finished. 6. There will need to be 12-15 participants to make this a successful experience 7. CLASS IS FREE OF CHARGE ! If you would like to sign up for this class, please reach out to District Safety and Security Director and High School Assistant Principal, Mr. William Ostroski at wilost@bhasd.org or call him at the office at 610 - 682 - 5102 ext 2001.
