PennDOT’s Paint the Plow program is back, and our Art Club students brought their creativity to life! 🎨❄️ This year’s theme, 'Use Your Reason When It’s Freezin’,’ encouraged students to design artwork promoting safe winter driving.
Our plow, now officially picked up by PennDOT, will help spread this important message while clearing roadways this winter. We’re so proud of our students for representing our school and showcasing their talent in such a meaningful way. Great job, Art Club! 👏✨

Let’s come together as BHASD and gather supplies to donate 65 Holiday Boxes to the Brandywine Food Pantry. Each grade level is responsible for a specific item in the boxes. If you can donate, please send in the items with your child. Collection is happening now through 12/6/24!

Life skills students visited Kiem Orchards to learn about types of jobs and skills needed to work at a fruit orchard. They learned about planting, harvesting, packing, cleaning, and even got to pick some apples of their own!

Students had the opportunity to tour the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research at Kutztown University. They viewed rare and historically significant instruments, many of which have been played by world-famous artists. Thank you to KU for having us and to Mrs. Hardy for organizing this cool experience!

Life skills students and Friends Forever club members hosted Friendsgiving last week! They planned the meal, grocery shopped for ingredients and cooked together. They invited additional guests, had a toast to inclusion, played bingo, and even had a Photo Booth!
