The 18th annual Music In Our Schools concert is a district-wide showcase of our students’ musical talents and gives the audience the opportunity to witness the musical growth of students as they advance through the years. We encourage Brandywine families to relax, enjoy all performances, and stay for the day. The evening is also a fundraiser for the district’s music program. Proceeds from this event will go into the Brandywine Heights Music Boosters general fund to assist with the needs of the music programs, Grades 3-12. Thank you for your support!

Thank you to everyone who supported this fun event, and special thanks to Miss Bechtel for playing bass and mandolin! On Friday, 2/16, seven students participated in LVC Honors Choir at Lebanon Valley College. Our next featured senior is Sadie Santangini.
Sadie says: I will be majoring in Physical Therapy as my future career. I plan to go to Kutztown University and receive a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Allied Health. After that, I plan to go to DeSales University and get a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in their DPT program.
My favorite BHASD memory would be, having my teachers come to my Nutcracker performance, that was in December. Seeing them walk down the auditorium to greet me after the show was a moment that I would never forget. Those teachers were Mrs. Bleiler, Ms. Stadt, Mrs. Ehrets, Mrs. Paxson, Sra. Warsing, and Mr. Tannous.
I greatly want to thank Mrs. Lambert for deepening my love toward the health field, specifically anatomy. Her way of teaching has pushed me to learn the proper way to study and how to retain that information. Ever since I was in her biology class, during sophomore year, I knew that she was the teacher that would impact my future the greatest. I also want to thank Dr. Graham for helping me improve as an artist and expanding my horizons on the materials used to convey art. Along with that, I want to thank him for deepening my love of dinosaurs and showing me the proper way of drawing them anatomically correct.

Congratulations to our recent #newHEIGHTS award winners, who were recognized at the February school board meeting. Thank you for your continued dedication and support to our BHASD students!

Our next featured senior is Emma Lukenich!
Emma says: My future plans include continuing my education at Millersville University where I will be studying Applied Engineering and Construction Management for the next 4 years.
My favorite memory from BHASD was probably the accomplishments that I have reached within my desired sports including, coming 3rd in the state for wrestling and then becoming district champs in softball the following season. The memories I have made and the bonds that have come from them will always be my favorite.
I would like to say thank you to all my teachers who have helped me in the past 4 years, including Mrs.Kost, Mrs. Greiss, Stadt, and Mrs. Thompson. They have made a great impact on who I am as a person today. From supporting me in sports, to supporting me in the classroom. They forever will be some of the greatest people I have gotten the chance to meet and grow up with.

They have made me see the brighter side of certain things and always pushed me to do harder even though I never wanted to. I wouldn't be where I am today without them and my family pushing me!!
