Christmas City Studio will be here at the High School in the morning until 11:30am.

Handling Photo Retakes:
• If a student is unhappy with their original photo, they should bring their original photo package on Retake Day.
• A new package with the updated photo will be printed and delivered to the school to be handed out.
New or Missed Students:
• New students or those who missed the original photo day can use the code on the flyer to place their orders.

Congratulations to the Practical Arts Department Student of the Quarter, Sophomore Elizabeth Tomaine. Very proud of your work this quarter!

On Monday, the band Big Lunch, formed and run by BHHS music students, performed at the elementary school for Mr. Hogan’s recognition ceremony. The band has five members, including seniors Brielle Hardy, Josh Miller, Tyler Pham, Colin Seidel, and Dylan Teel. The elementary school students really enjoyed the performance!


BHHS Annual Financial Aid Night will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 6pm in the High School Auditorium. The Director of Financial Aid at Reading Area Community College will be presenting information and updates on the 2025 FAFSA application.
High School students participated in the Youth Leadership Summit at Kutztown University. They collaborated with 22 other schools to begin planning activities and events focused around the theme, Going for the Gold with Inclusion. Students made a kindness chain, practiced leadership skills, and pledged to become catalysts of change in their districts!


Ms. Bross' AP Government Students held a Voter Registration Drive last Friday during school lunch hours. They did a wonderful job giving students the information they need on how to register to vote and where to find important details on voting! We are #bulletProud of them!


Berks CareerLink will be hosting a Job Fair on Monday, October 14th, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading. Nine companies will be set up with information for potential candidates. Please see flyers for more information.









Please see the flyer regarding the upcoming Parent Resource Fair that the BCIU will be hosting on November 7 from 5 – 7:30 pm. This supportive event is designed to connect families with valuable resources, information, and community services that may benefit them as a parent of a child with special needs.

Meet Copper! Copper is our newest member of the BHHS community and proud representative of our new Agriculture program. Students in our Ag program help take care of Copper and ensure his needs are met.

Our high school students had a great Homecoming Weekend! Huge thank you to our Student Council for planning the pep rally and the Homecoming Dance. We had an incredible turn out for the Homecoming Dance Friday night and everyone had a blast! It was great to see so many people out for the Homecoming activities on Saturday as well. Congratulations to our Homecoming Court and our King and Queen 🎉










The BHHS Marching Band performed for the Homecoming Court ceremony, and Chamber Singers performed the National Anthem before the Boys Varsity Soccer game. Well done!


Caron's Education Alliance presents Prevention Resources and Education for Parents. Please see the flyer to register for an upcoming presentations on October 7th and October 10th.

This week, students in Mrs. Bollinger's Biology class worked through a lab involving the properties of water. Student rotated around the room to work on different stations and connect the properties to different observations.



9th grade students were visited by Mrs. Parks, Outreach Coordinator from Berks Career and Technology Center, today and learned about the 35+ programs offered on their two campuses. 11th grade students also learned about a special Seniors Only program- Medical Health Professions. This program offers college level courses and invaluable shadowing opportunities in the hospital setting. BCTC has tons of great opportunities for our students!

BHASD is working with Health Hero PA to offer flu vaccinations for students on October 8th. Anyone interested in having their child(ren) vaccinated that day at school needs to complete, sign and return the consent form to the building school nurse's office on or before Wednesday, October 2nd. Budgeting and managing money can be overwhelming topics! Looking for strategies to building financial wealth can be daunting in today’s economy. To that end, we are excited to share an opportunity to learn about these topics with our school community. Brandywine Heights Area School District in conjunction with the Brandywine Heights Education Foundation and are thrilled to host the New York Life Insurance Company and the Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation on September 26th at 6:30PM at the Brandywine Heights High School Auditorium. We hope this night can be informative for anyone ranging from high school students to interested families to learn these important skills.
