BHASD Food Happenings! At the High School this week, students enjoyed delicious Yogurt Parfaits. Each parfait is layered with fruit and vanilla yogurt and topped with a granola and chocolate chip mixture. Keep up the great work, HS team!
Yesterday HS students engaged in Operation Safe Prom. This event included local emergency personnel simulating the events of a mock car accident. This was an educational experience for students to remind them to make safe choices. We wish our BH students a safe & fun prom!
The BH Special Olympic athletes participated in different track and field events today at Schuylkill Valley HS. The events included long jump, shot put, softball throw, 25m walk, 25m run, 50m run, 100m run, and 4x100m relay. Congratulations athletes, you all did amazing!
Brandywine Heights surely knows how to support the members of its community so well. The High Schoolers lined the hallways to support the students headed to the Special Olympics today ! Unified Sports really shows what inclusion is about and we wish our Olympic Athletes well today and a huge shout out to the school supporters!! #bulletProud

This week BHASD recognizes our school nurses during NURSE WEEK! Thank you for all of you do from cleaning up scrapes and bruises, to attending meetings and field trips. Your compassion, caring demeanor and commitment is greatly appreciated!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day. This day is designed to honor our lunch ladies and gents for all that they do: preparing healthy meals, adhering to strict nutritional standards, navigating food allergies, and serving food with a smile!

At the High School this week, the ladies of the kitchen prepared a Buffalo Chicken Dip meal. Students choose from an assortment of sides and toppings. Great job, ladies!

9th grade students were invited to attend a field trip to Kutztown University today through a program called Berks Business and Education Coalition. Students learned about some of the admissions requirements for KU and were given a full campus tour.
