Earlier this month, two Brandywine Heights students auditioned for District Band, a select festival ensemble made up of students from school districts in seven counties, including Berks. Junior Madeline Roibu (clarinet) and 8th grader Louis Johnson (baritone saxophone) both qualified for District Band and will represent Brandywine at the festival in January. The Brandywine Heights Area School District will be operating under a two-hour delay. Road conditions, particularly in the higher elevations, are snow covered and very slippery. A delay will allow for roads to be treated and a safer travel in daylight
