In technology in 3rd grade, students watched a clip from the popular YouTube channel, Dude Perfect, where a pumpkin carving contest was hosted. They, then, used a 3D software, called CyberPumpkin.Zone, to simulate creating their own pumpkin carving contest, where students voted on their favorite creation! :)

At the elementary level, we will be focusing on making healthy and safe choices. Below you will find a schedule of the planned “spirit days.” Students are encouraged but not required to participate.

On November 12th, BHASD in conjunction with Key Club will be hosting a Senior Citizen Luncheon for the Thanksgiving holiday. Following this event, we will be hosting an optional Introduction to Smartphones course for Senior Citizens. Seating is limited to the first 125 people. Second graders explored the different properties of materials used for clothing, such as texture, flexibility, and absorbency. In this activity, students used this information to design and build a hat that protects them from the Sun.
