Bullet Academy held its first Halloween parade and party. Many children attended dressed in fantastic costumes; from Lightning McQueen to Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo. The school age children watched the parade and pleasantly cheered on the little ones. The event ended with a party containing goodies and activity stations. It was a special day! Thank you to all who attended.

November Math Challenge!
We are back with another Math Challenge for the month of November!
All students in Pre-K to Grade 3 are invited to participate!
Students will be bringing home a math calendar. Throughout the month of November, we are challenging students to spend 5 extra minutes each day doing a math-related activity at home. Some examples of activities are helping in the kitchen, using the weather forecast to plan outfits for the week, or discussing football scores. Just write the activity each day for 15 or more days, and then take your calendar to Potts’ Top Dog for a FREE HOT DOG!!!!!
Remember…MATH IS EVERYWHERE!!
POTTS’ TOP DOG, you are the best!!
If you have any questions, you can email Mrs. Farina (mailto:laufar@bhasd.org) or Mrs. Levengood (mailto:lynlev@bhasd.org).

Dear Brandywine Heights Families, On Wednesday, November 13, the Brandywine Heights Area School District will join people around the globe in celebrating World Kindness Day! This special day is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the power of kindness and to remind one another that even small acts can make a big difference. Each of our schools has planned meaningful activities to highlight what kindness means to our students and how it can grow throughout our community: 🌱 Elementary School – “Giving Life to Kindness” Elementary students will bring a Kindness Tree to life in the school cafeteria! Each student will reflect on the prompt “Kindness is…” and share their thoughts by adding a personalized leaf to the tree’s branches. Together, their words will form a beautiful display of compassion and creativity. ✋ Intermediate & Middle School – “Be the ‘I’ in KIND” Intermediate and Middle School students will “be the ‘I’ in KIND” by adding their handprints to a special backdrop in the IS/MS cafeteria. This interactive display will give every student the chance to leave their mark and celebrate the spirit of kindness with a fun photo opportunity! 💛 High School – “Kindness in Action” At the High School, all grade levels will come together on the new turf field to form the word “KIND.” A drone photo will capture this powerful image of Kindness in Action as students join in a memorable display of unity and compassion. (Please note: The photo will be taken prior to BCTC students departing at 10:00 a.m.) We are so proud of our students and staff for making kindness a cornerstone of our district’s culture. Thank you for your continued support in helping us spread positivity and compassion—today and every day! With gratitude, Brandywine Heights Area School District

In technology, second grade is decorating the printout of an iPad creation, and using the PicCollage app, students filled the inside of their shadow with things that describe them.
