Today, our BHMS students and staff gathered for our annual Patriot Day Assembly, marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸
We remembered those we lost, honored those who served, and celebrated the spirit of service in our own community.
This year, we were proud to recognize Mr. Peter Moyer for 43 years of dedicated service to the Topton Volunteer Fire Company. Thank you, Mr. Moyer, for showing our students what a lifetime of service looks like.
Remember. Recognize. Reflect. Serve.

BHMS Fall 2026 Fundraiser event is here, Butter Braids! All students should have received a flyer in homeroom this week. There are 2 options when it comes to ordering: Online orders and paper orders. For online ordering please see the back of the order form for a QR code to setup an account.

During our Back-to-School In-Service Day, Brandywine Heights staff came together for a Community Bike Build Project—reviving a longstanding tradition of giving back to the community.
With the help of Jason’s Bikes and the incredible generosity of our community sponsors, our staff worked side-by-side to assemble 52 bicycles and 52 helmets. Each bike received a safety inspection and will be distributed throughout the Brandywine Heights community during the 2026–2027 school year.
This project was about more than building bikes. It was about teamwork, service, connection, and creating opportunities for recreation, transportation, healthy living, and outdoor fun.
