
Brandywine Heights School District will be celebrating Plastic Free Lunch Day on Monday, April 22nd in conjunction with Earth Day! Plastic Free Lunch Day provides students an opportunity to learn about plastic pollution and take meaningful plastic-reduction action. One plastic free day leads to another and creates a vision and actionable ideas to move forward to a sustainable future.


Join us on Friday April 19th at 7pm for the Middle School Talent Show! Acts include singing, dancing, acting, and ventriloquism! Select Chorus and Jazz Band will be performing in exhibition. Admission to the talent show is $5 per person. Student performers do not need to pay admission. All proceeds will help send our students to future county and state music festivals.

Tomorrow is the annual Education Showcase and Mindfulness event from 5-7 at the High School. All families are welcome to attend! Come out, grab some dinner, and learn about the instruction happening in our classrooms.


Thursday 4/18- Camo Day!


The students in Mr. Harvey's What Is So Cool About Manufacturing Club had a fun night meeting all the manufacturing companies that hosted students from across Berks and Schuylkill Counties. The event was at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading. Congratulations to this team for creating an amazing video that showcased the Sweet Streets Desserts facility.

Do you have loose change lying around that you would like to donate? MS Key Club is collecting loose change for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from now until 4/26. Each homeroom has a container to collect the change. The homeroom with the most money collected, will earn a spot in our end of the year pizza party raffle and a prize bag.

Congratulations to Mrs. Kohler for being nominated for the Annie Sullivan Award! The BCIU held a heartfelt ceremony April 3rd to honor all nominees for their outstanding contributions and dedication to improve the lives of those with disabilities.



Caron presents Prevention Resources and Education for Parents (PREP). This one-hour live presentation provides parents, caregivers, and other caring adults with information research shows can help reduce the chances that their teen will engage in substance use.

BHASD is holding the annual Educational Showcase and Mindfulness Family Night on April 18, 2024 at the High School from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Join us for a fun night filled with vendors, educational highlights, and activities.


Last call for Field Day T-shirts! Orders were due March 22nd, however if you would still like to order one for your child, please send in money by Friday 4/5, after that orders will not be accepted.


Gifted classes with Mrs. Levengood, Mr. Harvey and Mr. Kobielnik participated in trivia competition today! Students enjoyed the challenge and as the competition drew to a close the atmosphere buzzed with excitement.
