Our 8th graders have an opportunity to participate in a program called Shreducation through Blue Mountain Ski Resort. The instructors come out to our P.E. classes to teach students how to ski and snowboard. We then get to go up to Blue Mountain to try it out on snow. Students have an opportunity to learn a new winter activity of skiing or snowboarding.
8th Graders had a beautiful day to learn to ski and snowboard. Thank you to Blue Mountain and all the instructors that made this experience fun and inspiring for the students who were experiencing these sports for the first time. More pics will be added to the IS/MS Facebook page.

The Cascade Brigade is proud to present the 3rd annual Night of the Arts this Friday, February 23rd in the HS Auditorium. Along with juggling there will be music, drama performances, and improv as well as displays of student work in art, graphics, woodshop, and engineering classes. It is a great opportunity to experience the talent in our district. There is no charge for admission and the evening begins at 7PM. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our group of Mr. Mark's 6th grade Middle School students (Makenna H., Mikayla S., Emily P., and Liv J.) who presented their invention, Straws for Schools, at the PA state finals Invention Convention in Hershey, PA today. We look forward to seeing their future innovations!
