Our Veterans Day celebrations continued as we honored the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of those who’ve served. Thank you to all veterans for inspiring our students and reminding us of the true meaning of service.

A heartfelt thank you to Larry Werst from the Topton Museum for creating a mini museum at our school, giving students and Veterans an incredible learning experience as we celebrate Veterans Day today.

A big thank you to the Veterans who spent time in our classrooms today, sharing their stories with our students, and to the wonderful therapy dogs who brought extra smiles to everyone!

Virtual Academy students learned about radial design in art class led by Mrs. Greiss. Radial design is when elements originate from the central point and extend outwards toward the edge. Our students based their design on what they are thankful for. Thank you Mrs. Greiss!

The students in Señora Shoemaker's classes made papel picado and flores this week to celebrate Día de Los Muertos. At the middle school, students in Intro Spanish hung their papel picado in the classroom. At the high school, students in Spanish 1 & 3 created ofrendas or alters to remember loved ones who have passed. Teachers voted period 5A the winner of the Best Ofrenda contest! The Virtual Academy took a field trip to Savidge Farms. Students had the opportunity to learn about how pumpkins are planted, cultivated, and harvested. We had fun in the corn maze, picking our own pumpkins, and learning to identify different varieties of pumpkins.

Bullet Academy families enjoyed a field trip to Savidge Farms. It was a beaufitul day for farm activities and free play. Thank you Savidge Farms for a fun event! The youngest Bullet Academy child's shirt says it best - "Good Vibes and Hayrides"!

With 17 years in the district, Ms. Kelly knows every single student by name, making each child feel seen, valued, and supported. From creating lifelong memories through mentorship programs to building connections with families, her dedication shines every day. Ms. Kelly truly believes every child deserves a champion—and she’s that champion for all our young learners!


Meet Mr. Romberger, our inspiring Principal at the Intermediate/Middle School, as we continue celebrating National Principals Month! Driven by his belief in being the positive change he wishes to see, Mr. Romberger is all about creating a supportive, engaging environment where students and staff feel at home.
