We need your help to honor the incredible educators who make a difference in your child’s life every day. The Pennsylvania Department of Education is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Teacher of the Year award, and we encourage you to nominate a teacher who has positively impacted your family.
If you know a teacher who inspires, motivates, and supports students, please consider submitting a nomination by December 16, 2024. We would kindly ask that you notify ginobe@bhasd.org (Subject: PA Teacher of the Year NOMINATION) if you nominate one of our excellent staff. The District will be asked to provide follow up information and it would be helpful to know if one of our staff members are nominated in advance.
Let’s show our appreciation and celebrate the educators who make a lasting difference!

Students learned to program, calibrate, and discuss implementation plans with Mr. Molitoris. Their goal is to provide accurate weather reports for BBN and the building and grounds crew at BHASD.

The virtual academy students explored buoyancy and Archimedes' principle while engaging in hands-on experiments illustrating how objects behave in fluids. By testing various materials in water, they discovered that the buoyant force acting on an object is equal to the weight of the fluid it displaces.

To recognize the National School Lunch Program, serving nearly 30 million children each day, Brandywine Heights schools will celebrate National School Lunch Week from October 14-18. The fun and creative campaign theme, "School Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure," highlights the importance of a healthy school lunch to a student's success both in and out of the classroom.
