"We had an amazing luncheon for Senior Citizens on Wednesday, and the team that helped put it together did an incredible job. Mrs. Paxson and the Key Club made a lot of people feel very special, and it is always so nice to see our kids interacting with the community members. "--Mr. Dziunycz, HS Principal

Virtual Academy students learned about radial design in art class led by Mrs. Greiss. Radial design is when elements originate from the central point and extend outwards toward the edge. Our students based their design on what they are thankful for. Thank you Mrs. Greiss!

The students in Señora Shoemaker's classes made papel picado and flores this week to celebrate Día de Los Muertos. At the middle school, students in Intro Spanish hung their papel picado in the classroom. At the high school, students in Spanish 1 & 3 created ofrendas or alters to remember loved ones who have passed. Teachers voted period 5A the winner of the Best Ofrenda contest! Let us know what you think in the comments!
