🌿 Big shoutout to our 7th grade conservationists!
This winter, they dove into the importance of riparian buffer zones and designed posters that helped shape a brand-new permanent sign—now proudly on display near the stream. It's more than just a sign… it’s a symbol of the meaningful work our students are doing to protect and educate. 💧🪧

📚 The Brandywine Heights Intermediate School Reading Olympics team crushed it at their event last week—winning all three rounds and finishing 2nd in the county overall! 🥈💥
These 14 standout students read way beyond the required list, took detailed notes, and showed up with incredible sportsmanship and focus. We see you, book lovers—and we are so proud. 👏

🎶 The BHHS Treble Choir spent the weekend in Philadelphia at the beginning of May. 🏙️ The group attended a joint concert by the Singing City Choir and Nashirah, the Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia, which was phenomenal. 🎼 They also explored Center City, including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Love Park, Rittenhouse Square, and Reading Terminal Market. Some students even went to a Phillies game, and some ate at Chickie’s and Pete’s. ⚾ 🐔 It was a fun and educational weekend! ✨

Mrs. Hook’s 4th graders are in the middle of a novel study on The BFG and today’s focus was Phizzwizards—very good dreams. ✨
Students created their own dream jars and used circuits to make their Phizzwizards come to life, refreshing their knowledge of how batteries work to complete a circuit. A fun mix of reading, dreaming, and science! 💡📖🌟
